A gift-wrapping service: your purchase wrapped and knotted in a saekdong bojagi — a Korean wrapping cloth in rainbow stripes. Fine stripes about 2mm wide run on the diagonal in red, yellow, green, blue, purple and white, on a cloth thick enough that nothing shows through. Have us wrap your order and we pick the size to fit; or buy the cloth on its own in small, medium or large. Made for birthdays, holidays and parcels to friends who once visited Korea — any gift you want to arrive looking like a celebration. Untied, the cloth lives on as a scarf or a bag.

- Saekdong is a pattern of many colours joined stripe by stripe. Its bright colours come from obangsaek, the five colours that stood for the five directions.
- North, south, east, west and centre each had a force watching over it. Wear the colours together, people believed, and harm could not reach you from any side.
- So saekdong came out whenever bad luck was being sent off and good fortune welcomed in, above all at the new year. It is best known on children's holiday jackets, but a wish for protection from every direction is one you can give anyone, at any age.
- In Korea a gift was wrapped in cloth rather than boxed, and the pattern on the cloth spoke for the giver. A gift wrapped in saekdong carries that wish — wherever you are, may trouble pass you by — which makes it just as right for a parent's birthday, a colleague starting a new job or a friend setting off somewhere far away.

- Nothing shows through. The cloth is thick and densely woven, so the print and colours of the box inside stay hidden and the other person gets to wonder what it is right up until the knot comes undone.

- Thick enough to follow the edges of a box. Thin cloth slumps over a parcel; this one keeps every fold crisp, so the gift looks finished and quietly expensive at a glance.
- The edges are overlocked with thread. They will not fray, so it can be worn as a scarf or tied and untied many times over without the ends wearing out.
- Every parcel is wrapped by hand in our shop, with a cloth sized to the item. The cloth sits snugly and the knot gathers neatly at the centre, so whoever unties it can tell the care that went into it.

Requirements
- Please take into consideration that we only accept qualifying returns but not exchanges. Refunds are issued once the returned products clear our inspection.
1) An item is eligible for cancellation if:

- The order is delayed for more than 10 days since payment and you have not received any notification regarding the delay; or
- The ordered item is out of stock.
2) We accept return(s) if:

**The following items are not considered defective:
- Items that are originally manufactured without tags or labels
- Items with creases that may have been made while shipping
- Items with unsatisfactory/incomplete finish due to mass production
