A double-gauze cotton towel carrying the lotus-and-vine design from a National Treasure Goryeo celadon vase, drawn in soft green.
350mm square: open, it's a face towel; folded, a handkerchief; halved over a rail, a kitchen cloth. Thin enough to dry in hours, and softer with every wash.
Pale and quiet enough for a bathroom or a bedroom. The lotus on an unbroken vine means *may good things not stop* — which makes it an easy housewarming or moving-in gift.

- The original is a Goryeo celadon vase incised with a lotus-and-vine design, one of the National Treasures of Korean ceramics. The pattern climbing its body is two wishes laid over each other. The lotus rises out of mud unstained — clarity, and beginning again. The vine runs on without breaking — continuation. Together: may good things not stop.
- Which is why vine patterns are drawn without an ending. The rule was to join them so you can't tell where they start or finish, so that good fortune never breaks off mid-run. The wish shapes even how the line is drawn.
- The celadon incised plum vase was created by carving with the tip of a knife without applying color. The glaze pools in the carved areas and naturally deepens—a method reflecting the Goryeo taste that valued beauty in what is visible without being overtly displayed. This has been reinterpreted in a light green color that does not overtly reveal itself but harmonizes well with its surroundings.
- A good motif to hand someone who has just moved, or just begun something. It says *may this last* without your having to.
