- The grape motif was a favorite on Joseon white porcelain, rendered in cobalt blue or iron brown. A vine spreading across a restrained white ground was a signature image of Joseon ceramics.
- Bearing many fruits on a single vine, grapes have long symbolized fertility and abundance.
- Those clustered fruits were also read as "abundant wealth," making the grape a sign of fortune and prosperity—which is why it suits someone beginning anew.
- In Korea, folk paintings (minhwa) were gifted at the New Year and hung on doors and walls to invite good energy. This blanket carries that gesture into a modern home.

- Items with creases that may have been made while shipping
