- Koreans have long hung pollack (Myeongtae) at doorways during moves, business openings, and ceremonial occasions to ward off bad energy — a custom called "Aek-magi" (액막이)
- Its large, clear eyes were believed to "see through" evil, which is why it's traditionally hung facing outward so the eyes are visible
- The name "Myeongtae (명태)" is said to trace back to a fisherman named "Tae" from Myeongcheon county during the Joseon dynasty
- No other fish in Korea has this many names: 동태 (fresh), 북어 (dried), 황태 (wind-dried), 코다리 (half-dried) — As such, pollack has been a food close to the lives of Koreans for a long time.

- Please take into consideration that we only accept qualifying returns but not exchanges. Refunds are issued once the returned products clear our inspection.

- The order is delayed for more than 10 days since payment and you have not received any notification regarding the delay; or
- The ordered item is out of stock.
2) We accept return(s) if:
- You receive a product different from your order; or
- You receive a defective product.
**The following items are not considered defective:
- Items that are originally manufactured without tags or labels
- Items with creases that may have been made while shipping
- Items with unsatisfactory/incomplete finish due to mass production
